Due to tight supplies exacerbated by extreme weather conditions, natural rubber prices in China have surged to nearly $2,000 per ton as of June 25th, marking a 23% increase compared to the previous year. In Xishuangbanna, a key rubber-producing region in southwest China's Yunnan Province, scorching temperatures have severely affected latex production from rubber trees. The heat has dried up the latex, reducing rubber output by 40% compared to previous years.
