At the 8th Sino-German Automotive Conference, the impact of upcoming EU tariffs on Chinese electric vehicles (EVs) was a central topic of discussion. Alongside the tariff concerns, participants also explored how Chinese EVs could assist the European Union in meeting its ambitious green goals, particularly the transition away from internal combustion engines by 2035. Despite ongoing trade tensions, there is strong emphasis on fostering cooperation to support the EU's sustainability.
