Chengdu City in southwest China is rapidly becoming a hub for foreign investment, with over 4,000 international enterprises setting up shop. General Electric HealthCare, a global leader in medical equipment, is among the notable companies to invest in the region. Since entering China in 1979, GE Healthcare has expanded significantly, launching a state-of-the-art production base in Chengdu in May 2023.
