China’s tourism sector is experiencing a boom in elderly foreign travelers, thanks to relaxed visa policies and tailored travel services. Since December, the nation has expanded visa-free travel to citizens from 54 countries, offering more convenience for retirees and individuals over 60. The surge in elderly visitors is also supported by increased flight availability, enabling easier travel access.
