The Southern African Development Community (SADC) has announced an extension of its peacekeeping mission in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) to help stabilize the region amidst ongoing conflict. Elias Magosi, Executive Secretary of SADC, emphasized the importance of continued support for the DRC in light of persistent security challenges.
