Hungarian auto dealers and consumers are expressing concerns over the EU's decision to impose tariffs on Chinese electric vehicles. In showrooms in Budapest, Chinese brand BYD and European brand Sköda sit side by side, but the new tariffs will soon make Chinese EVs more expensive, potentially harming local sales. Hungary, along with Germany and other countries reliant on the auto industry, voted against the tariffs, believing they will be detrimental to both the EU and China.
