China's largest base for the advanced Hualong-1 nuclear power units is set to begin operations soon, marking a significant milestone in the country's energy development. The base, located in Zhangzhou, plans to construct a total of six Hualong-1 units, with four currently under construction. According to Wu Yuanming, Director of Guodian Zhangzhou Energy at China National Nuclear Power, Unit 1 has completed nuclear fuel loading.
