China News: World's Highest Altitude Energy Storage Facility Goes Live in China's Xizang

China’s Xizang Autonomous Region is now home to the world’s highest altitude standalone energy storage facility, which has recently become operational and is connected to the national grid. Located over 4,600 meters above sea level, the facility boasts a total installed capacity of 100MW/400MWh, with an investment of more than 60 million U.S. dollars.
