China is actively promoting the participation of African businesses at the China International Import Expo (CIIE) to foster stronger trade ties between China and the African continent. Shen Xiang, Director General of the Department of Western Asian and African Affairs at China's Ministry of Commerce, highlighted the importance of the CIIE as a platform for African companies to showcase their products and explore new business opportunities in the vast Chinese market.
