International News: Nigeria Receives First Batch of Mpox Vaccines from US

Nigerian health authorities received 10,000 doses of the Jynneos Mpox vaccine from USAID on Tuesday. The vaccines are key in the fight against the current Mpox outbreak. The disease has been detected in at least a dozen African countries. The Nigerian government has implemented a comprehensive plan addressing safety and vaccine hesitancy. The WHO has reaffirmed the vaccines' safety and effectiveness.
