China has become a leading market for Norway's Greenland Halibut, a fish known for its luxurious meat and challenging catch. With the salmon market saturated, halibut offers a profitable alternative for Norwegian fishers. Some fresh cod, before being dried and processed into stockfish, is also exported to significant markets like Denmark, the UK, and China. Norwegian fishers, like Stale, are now focusing on increasing their halibut catch, hoping it can eventually match the export.
