Chinese President Xi met African leaders in Beijing. Among them are South Africa’s Ramaphosa, DRC’s Felix Tshisekedi, Mali’s Assimi Goïta, and Comoro President Azali Assoumani among others. The meetings focused on bilateral trade agreements, poverty reduction, infrastructural development, security, and resource sharing for the mutual benefit of the countries. Xi highlighted the benefits of strategic association between China and African countries.
