China's manufacturing sector is harnessing the power of artificial intelligence to improve quality control and enhance efficiency. At a hubcap factory in east China's Zhenjiang City, an AI-powered inspection line is using technology like high-precision cameras that can detect 99 percent of a product's defects. Their system can catch fabric deviations as small as 0.1 millimeters and does so on the fly during the weaving process, which managers say is three times more efficient.
