China News: Chinese Airlines Add More Int'l Freight Routes Amid Soaring Cargo Demand

Chinese air carriers are rapidly expanding their international cargo networks to meet growing global demand. In the first half of the year, China added 74 international air freight routes, boosting total air cargo volume by over 32% year-on-year. International routes saw an 84% increase, driven by the Red Sea shipping crisis, while charter flights surged 9%, reflecting a significant rise in demand for electric vehicles, lithium batteries, and photovoltaic products.
