China News: China's new icebreaker vessel Jidi delivered

China's latest icebreaker vessel, Jidi, has been officially delivered to the Ministry of Natural Resources in Guangzhou. Developed by Guangzhou Shipyard International Company, part of the China State Shipbuilding Corporation, the Jidi measures 89 meters in length and about 18 meters in width, with a navigational range of approximately 26,000 kilometers. The addition of Jidi underscores China's commitment to advancing its capabilities in polar exploration.
