Chinese lithium mines are significantly boosting production to cater to the surging global demand for lithium, a key component in rechargeable batteries. At a mine in Yichun, dubbed the "lithium capital of Asia," approximately 170 tons of lithium carbonate ore are extracted daily. As demand escalates in the automotive and energy storage sectors, mining companies are rapidly expanding their production capabilities to keep pace with market needs.
