The ministry spokesperson, He Yadong, emphasized the need for sincerity from the EU in addressing the tariff dispute. He noted that both sides have already conducted several rounds of talks and expressed hope for advancing the consultation process promptly. Starting Friday, the EU plans to impose tariffs as high as 37.6% on imports of EV.
