In southwest China's Chongqing Municipality, former World War II bomb shelters are finding new life as bookshops, restaurants, museums, and more. These underground tunnels, originally used as shelters during Japanese air raids, are being repurposed to boost the local economy. For instance, a 3,000-square-meter bunker has been transformed into a futuristic dystopian exhibit to raise awareness about climate change, attracting 200,000 visitors since its opening in March.
