Merchants from around the world are getting a jump on their Christmas purchases in east China's Yiwu, home to the world's largest small-commodities market. For many, it's the first time in more than three years that they've been allowed to enter the country due to the pandemic. Data shows about 1,600 foreign merchants visited the market every day in the first quarter of the year, up 30 percent from a year ago.
