China is going underground to boost consumer spending by launching various restaurants, shops, and services at some of its busiest subway stations. At the Century City station in southwest China's Chengdu, a 60-meter-long thoroughfare houses some 20 or so stalls selling snacks, flowers, or services like manicures and in Beijing, underground convenience stores that take pre-orders so your dinner is ready to go when you arrive to pick it up.
