In the wake of Japan's decision to release treated nuclear-contaminated water from Fukushima into the sea, Chinese stores have swiftly removed Japanese seafood from their shelves. The ban has notably affected one of Beijing's historic malls, where seafood from Norway, New Zealand, France, and other sources still populate the supermarket, while Japanese seafood is absent.
