China experienced its second hottest June ever recorded, accompanied by an unusual dry spell with precipitation levels 15% below average. The province of Yunnan faced its driest spring season on record. The National Meteorological Center of China warns that extensive regions, spanning from eastern Inner Mongolia to northern China, including Hebei province, will continue to grapple with arid conditions.
