Tanzania's government says its population of black rhinos and elephants has increased in the past decade, and that - they say - is the result of robust anti-poaching operations. The tourism ministry says Tanzania now has Africa's third-largest elephant population, which has grown from about 43,000 in 2014 to 60,000 of the pachyderms last year.
