When Cyclone Freddy first made landfall in Southern Malawi, it caused immediate economic damage. Over a month later, the people here are still trying to compute the losses their businesses suffered. Annie Njore is a business woman who ran a grocery store along the flood path before the disaster struck. Her business was among many that were washed away by Cyclone Freddy. Njore says she lost her years of savings in just minutes after Cyclone Freddy made landfall in her township.
