When we think of self-talk, we think, ‘ohh I am certainly out of my mind’. Did you know self-talk happens even without our knowledge? It is the most powerful conversation and viewing it in the most positive way can have a great impact in our lives.
Transformation coach and entrepreneur Caroline Ngina, on this episode of FULL CIRCLE with Joyce Omondi explains how to use this gift to the best of our abilities.
Self-talk is an internal dialogue that no one aside from you can hear. It can be conscious or subconscious. Whether we want to or not, something happens in the mind and everything we do starts from the mind. To attain something, you obviously think it first.
“How you think about yourself is the most important. How you feel within shows in your face and the way you act”

Build a positive environment for yourself
“The quality of your life is the quality of your emotions”
Ngina says not even influencers were born that way. It is what they say to themselves and how positive they are about themselves that yields confidence in them.
Positive self-talk benefits us in our body and health; how we look on the outwards and inwards. Learn to speak well of anything that pertains your life.
When life takes a negative turn
Caroline advices to plan our lives ahead and avoid situations where we wait for the worst to happen to actually deal with it.
Have something that enables you to constantly engage in positive self-talk, in good and bad days is important. Ngina uses sticky notes with positive messages in her office, living room and even her car.
Avoid personalized self-talk (blaming yourself for everything). Negativity causes illnesses, suicidal thoughts among other unnecessary ill habits.
