Sauti Sol Receive a Grammy Certificate

Sauti Sol has been together since 2005

Kenyan Boy Band Sauti Sol was thrilled to receive a Grammy Certificate for their contribution in Burna Boy’s album Twice as Tall. Part of the certificate read
 
“The Recording Academy presents this certificate to Sauti Sol in recognition of your participation as producer on the Grammy Award-winning recording ‘Twice As Tall,”

Twice as Tall had won a Grammy for Best Global Music Album in the 63 rd Annual Grammy Awards that was held in Los Angel, California on March 14, 2021. This made Burna Boy the first Solo Nigerian artist to bag a Grammy. 

The Suzanna hitmakers   took to their social media, platforms to congratulated the singer as well as thank him for giving them a chance to be part of the album production.

"Congratulations @burnaboygram. Happy to be a part of the dream. Thank you for ON A MISSION showing us it can be done! AFRICAN BOYS"

Sauti Sol Grammy certificate.

Sauti Sol are known worldwide for their epic music. They have won major awards including MTV Europe Music Award for Best African Act in 2014, MTV Africa Music Award for Best Group in the year 2015, with 'Sura Yako' winning an award for 'Best Song East Africa at the Kilimanjaro Tanzania Music Awards on the same year. Still in 2015, they were nominated for a BET Award under the 'Best African Act Category' , which was won by Ghana's Stonebwoy. Other major nominations include; Kisima Music Awards, Kora Awards, Africa Music Awards among others. They have also won four All Africa Music Awards(AFRIMA)


The band is made up of Bien Aime Barasa, Savara Midigi, Willy Chimano and Guitarist Polycarp Otieno. They came together in 2005 and since then, it has been milestones after milestones for them. We are waiting for more surprises...
