Nick Ndeda and Muthoni Gitau Part Ways After Seven Years

Nick Ndeda and Muthoni Gitau have separated after seven years. Muthoni, a YouTube content creator and Nick a thespian announced the breakup on their YouTube channel on Monday, July 5, 2021.
According to them, the goals they both shared were no longer reasonable.
Pursuing mutual goals in a reationship aside from personal goals is something that contributes to a healthy relationship. However, Nick felt like he was not making enough effort going after the mutual goals they both shared.
Muthoni and Nick admitted that they were still on good terms with one another. They added that their separation would not make them badmouth one another as some people may expect.
In a statement from their YouTube channel, the two agreed that Muthoni would continue managing the channel without Nick. She has since deleted all Nick’s pictures from the channel and changed its name to Just Doing Life with Muthoni Gitau.
Nick and Muthoni didn't just separate overnight. For some time, the two have given it some thought. According to them, this was the best decision moving forward.
“After 7 years, this feels like the best decision for both of us. The plan is to grow and heal as individuals as we evaluate what we want moving forward.”
According to the duo, the decision was also prompted by particular people who made it easier than expected.
“This decision was not made overnight. It has been three months of thinking and talking to professionals. There are also certain external factors that have contributed to the decision. There are also certain people that made the decision very easy, certain people... I know they are watching so that they can make phone calls, do it!”
Nick Ndeda revealed that he had a vasectomy mainly because he did not want children. Vasectomy is a surgery conducted on men to restrict them from siring kids. According to their vlog, they had both agreed that they wouldnt have children. For the better part of Monday, the two were the trending topic.
Netizens trolled Nick on Twitter after the incident. Nick poured out his heart stating that the vasectomy was his idea and Muthoni didn’t force him to do any of that.
“One final thing on this matter, I did not get a vasectomy for her. I did that for me because I also do not want kids. Any other questions, not up for debate or discussion.”
