Manchester City won the Carabao Cup final on Sunday in a clash against Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley. The Etihad giants won the silverware for the fourth time in this competition. Their center-back Aymeric Laporte scored a header giving City a late win, marking their eighth victory in this competition.

The league leaders dominated the game from the beginning to the end and expected to have an early score. In the first half, City made countless attacks and wasted many chances to lead. Eric Dier blocked a close attempt made by Raheem Sterling; Toby Alderweireld deflected a shot from Phil Foden, as Riyad Mahrez finessed a shot that went out wide, missing the target.
