Yasmin Said famously known as Maria is a young actress who came from Kibra. Maria was born in Kilifi county in the year 2000. She went to Ribe High School in Kilifi. After finishing high school, she attended acting auditions just to try out her luck. In an audition that was being managed by Lulu Hassan and Rashid Abdala, Maria gave it a shot and landed a nice opportunity to acting.
Yasmin was brought up in a Muslim family. Her tireless efforts finally paid off. Many doors were opened and she received tones of opportunities that changed her life for the better.
In just two years, she built her name to become one of Kenya's most celebrated thespians. This has led to many people wanting to know more about her with the constantly asked question being...is she single?
Yasmin has come out to say that she is single and isn't looking to date. She believes it is better to wait until marriage. According to her, having a boyfriend leads to several unnecessary things, and no one can’t predict an outcome.
The young actress continued to say that she is still young and does not see the need of jumping into a relationship in a hurry. Being a Muslim, dating is forbidden sinful, and unsupported by her religion.
"Also, I am a Muslim, and, in my religion, dating is haram. The right thing to do is to wait until you are married to your husband. Having a boyfriend leads to so many things, it is all fun and games, but you cannot predict the outcome," She added.
Yasmin says that she has lost many friends since she became a star since most of her friends wanted to enjoy her money. It turns out that her mom manages her bank account and every withdrawal made counts
