Quite a number of people, fans, have had a fair share of rejection from celebrities. Some people take it personally, others say at least I got to meet my star crush. What happens then when a celebrity gets a “not happening” vibe from a fellow personality?
Dj Kalonje on this episode of HAPPY HOUR with Shaffie and DNG, gets awfully expressive about his encounter with Huddah but what has Kalonje been up to?
Give him credit for the highlights of your high school life
Kalonje, or better yet George Waweru is the master of all legendary mixtapes from way back gaining recognition from fans all over the country.
Some of us would love to brag about having danced to his dancehall mixes back in high school. His signature was like the alarm to the weekend setting.
The thirty-two-year-old gives credit to all the mathrees that embraced his art. Well, his music gave them good business too.

It was all hard work
He now works for Switch TV, but his struggle was real. Kalonje started from the bottom working his way to the top.
He hawked his mix tapes around the city back in 2006 and the city council was on his back. Kalonje however is a man of the people, unlike what people think, he is a chilled guy committed to his work.
Why the name Huddah bugs him
“Staki kuona product ya Huddah kwa keja yangu”
Shaffie and DNG are just the people to put you on that hot seat but when they put their very own Kalonje, the unexpected is unleashed.
Men certainly appreciate a peace of mind and that meant giving his colleagues what they want.
Dj Kalonje apparently met Huddah in a club during one of his gigs. One would expect the socialite to at least give the influential Dj attention but it was the opposite.
Kalonje only wanted a selfie, he even says Huddah cosmetics were in his house because of his chile but he had them thrown out. He was not playing.
