Fresh Details of the death of Tecra Muigai

There has been a new twist in the death of Tecra Muigai.According to the investigators Tecra may have been a victim of a love triangle. Omar Lali, boyfriend to the late Keroche Breweries heiress, is said to have been involved with a Dutch woman with whom they have a child together. The woman is said to have rented an apartment 6 Kilometres from where Lali and Ms. Muigai were living. Though there is the investigators are not sure whether Mr. Lali and the dutch woman met, Omar is said to have travelled to Lamu shortly after the woman arrived from a vacation in Naivasha.
Tecra had stayed in Lamu for over 38 days after being caught by the intercountry cessation of movement. It is alleged that she succumbed due to head injuries from falling down a flight of stairs. Two days after her death, her lover Omar was arrested and detained for 21 days. This month Lali was arrested and released just before he could take a plea. The 54 year old man was released after the DPP applied to terminate the case.
However, reports from two pathologists question the fall story. According to the postmortem, Tecra had multiple head injuries, all which could not have been caused by a fall from a flight of stairs. Government pathologist Johansen Oduor said that the injuries were not likely to be caused by one impact. He said that the observation indicated blunt object injury as well as a possible fall.
Reports by the other consultant pathologist Andrew Gachii made a similar observation. Tecra allegedly fell from a height. However, the numerous head injuries, are unlikely to have been caused by a single impact. There are multiple impact sites as well as deep injuries, which suggest both blunt object blow injuries as well as a possible fall,” Gachii wrote as his 14 pages report conclusion
The toxicological report also noted that Tecra’s system was not intoxicated as had been reported earlier. While speaking to the investigators, a caretaker at the guest house said that when he went to clean the room at 7:30 am he spotted sizeable blood stains at the base of the stairs of the second floor but, there was no one there. The caretaker reported the odd situation to the manager. Lali asked them to clean the blood stains and the rest of the house as it was a minor incident.
Tecra’s phone and laptop were on the couch and were all on while her lover’s phone was off.
The Keroche Heiress passed on May 2,2020 at the Nairobi Hospital.She passed on at the age of 29.
