Kate Actress: From grass to grace,they laughed and mocked me.

Kate Actress has disclosed the struggle she and her cousin had as they kick started their acting careers. The two began their careers in Kenyan Family drama Mother-In-Law. Catherine disclosed that though they were famous they did not have much and people laughed and mocked them for that.
She recalled how they would stand on the mat so that they could save money for their meal that night. Mrs. Karanja and her cousin lived in a bedsitter at Maringo estate.

Reminded me of my awesome cousin @jacqytina and I in Maringo in our ka bed sitter,we were famous without much, people laughed, and mocked us ‘in our faces ,ati, “kwani Hawa hawananga pesa” tukiwa tumesimama kwa mat to save money for that days dinner… Mungu ni nani? God you are faithful guys, Please be kind, our jobs and talents may make us famous but trust me,we are all living that good life. Shout out to my fellow hardworking artistes out there struggling to make it, please don’t give up, and I pray that the universe conspires in your favor SOON, your story will be told” she said in an Instagram post.
This revelation is sort of a message for people to treat celebrities kindly. This may look good for them but they are having struggles that some of us cannot believe. Celebrities have been rumored to be some of the people who lead fake lives in order to live up to their fans expectations.
The mother of two is always serving us with some inspiration and motivation. Recently she asked the young people to never use up their savings to please the masses with a fake life.
The creative has shared with us her fair share of her struggles. She got pregnant at the early age of 19 and her life took a whole different turn.
Catherine is the true definition of hard work pays. She has worked on her brand and has made a name out of herself. She once disclosed that she is the highest paid actress in Kenya. She is a brand ambassador for a beauty company and is obviously one of the preffered infliuencers in Kenya.
