Sister Wives?

Polyandry refers to a woman having more than one husband. Of late, this has been accepted by societies in the western countries. What we actually have not seen, is it being just close home, in our midst.

"I know of a person who is into a polyandrous relationship. She has many men out there but she is married to one man…and they are Kenyan,’’ says Nzula Makosi, a mompreneur and a host at the chat spot table. But ladies, isn’t one man enough?

Nonny Gathoni, member of the chatspot ladies, added that most relationships are actually open nowadays. This means, dear reader, that your partner can have multiple partners with your knowledge and you too can choose to take the same path. No secrets, no hurt feelings, no insecurities! Some women literally nickname themselves, ‘sister wives’.

African culture

One lady from Kamba land came out months ago, displaying her affection for her two husbands. Would you be married and be in an open relationship? Even have children with your partner? The African culture does not condone such types of relationships but it is the 21st century, anything seems to go. However, the Western culture does.

Chatspot ladies also discussed about the swinging activities that go on. Humans seem to not get enough of exploration, to the extent of getting some excitement into the relationship and the feeling that one partner isn’t as fulfilling. This also begs the question of religion.

Ladies, the ratio of men to women: men hold a slight lead with 102 men for 100 women (in 2015). More precisely, according to google, out of 1,000 people, 504 are men (50.4%) and 496 are women (49.6%). More men are still on the way, there is no hurry, and one is absolutely enough, taking more than two will leave some without, don’t you think?

Anyway, it is a free world.
