Award winning Disc jockey Samuel Muraya popularly known as DJ Mo proved to be a supportive husband after gifting his wife Size 8 with a luxurious beauty parlor on her birthday in 2019.

An excited songstress celebrated the lavish gift, revealing that prior to making it in the industry she used to borrow wigs for her video shoot.

Well, sadly she has been forced to shut it down owing to her health. After going through so much during and after her pregnancy with Muraya Junior, she was advised to take slow to concentrate on her newborn’s health and that of hers.

Linet Munyali speaks miracles when it comes to her two children, Wambo and Muraya Junior. Both children especially her son, have not given her an easy time through the pregnancies. But she came out victorious.

Sacrifices

Speaking to Mpasho during an interview, Size 8 spilled the beans on what happened to the beauty parlor.

I gave it to someone else since I realized I could not manage it. My son was born at 36 weeks, and so I just wanted to focus on his health.” She said.

Baby Muraya was born through a C-section following complications Size 8 suffered prior to the set delivery date. Despite it all, her baby survived and so did she. She further revealed that her health was still unstable even after giving birth and leaving the hospital.

I also had to surrender some of my other responsibilities. I mean anything that I could live without, I left it because I was very sick. Even after I was discharged, I was still not okay. My blood pressure was still high and I needed to rest.” Size 8 added.

Partnership business

The beauty parlor was a project DJ Mo opened alongside a car wash in Kilimani called the 'Friends car wash', which he runs following his bad experience dealing with cars.

I have been frustrated the many times I have taken my cars to a car wash because of bad services.” Said the mother of two.

On whether she will consider opening another business in the future, Size 8 said she is eyeing a partnership business.

I now do not want to do something that I am specifically supposed to be there all through. I want something I can only be coming in as a partner because this one is taking a toll on me.”
