Following his new release spoken-word piece title “Wajinga Nyinyi”, singer/songwriter King Kaka was able to call out both voters and leaders. In his piece, he explains about the rotting state of the nation and how the voters and leaders have been part and parcel of the degradation happening.

In it, the Kaka Empire CEO addresses problems facing the country such as corruption, bad economy, poor health services, and poor living conditions. He takes a swipe at greedy pastors and politicians who have used their positions to amass wealth yet it does not trickle down to their people. The spoken-word piece is simply a masterpiece given that it has been able to call out the responsible people. Everyone has been a fool to some extent and clearly people are done.

Kenyan artistes and freedom fights must release more songs and poetry in order to shame, expose and DEFEAT these ORGANIZED CARTELS.

“King Kaka’s Wajinga Nyinyi new release is evidence that we are a free country. He has used his creative license to prick our conscience. Anyone defamed can seek legal redress, but as a board, we will not interfere with the production, Mutua said. Let people reflect on the message, but the fact that the rapper can do such production and walk scot-free is evidence that our democracy has come of age. Try that in Uganda or Rwanda and things will be different!” Dr. Mutua wrote on Facebook.

Attempt on his life

After sparking a major storm on Saturday with his latest piece titled, Wajinga Nyingi, Kenyan rapper King Kaka is currently seeking protection from unknown persons who seem to have been offended by his work. In the poetic piece he did, Kennedy Ombima did not hesitate to mince nay of his words as he called out Kenya’s tattered social fabric which has been infused with corruption at all levels.

A few hours upon releasing the viral clip, King Kaka seemed to hint that he would be pulling down the video. However, the video is still up on YouTube with almost a million views.

A day after the release of the piece the rapper asked for security: “All I can say is I need protection and prayers. Please.”

More people need to come up and speak on this. Nevertheless, it is necessary to stop rating on the various social media platforms and actually take action as most people wrote.
