Elani’s Maureen Kunga ties the knot in a private wedding

Kenya’s Elani music band member Maureeen Kunga got hitched this year August in Nakuru and yes, she did a good job at keeping it secret up till now.
She posted a picture in her wedding dress captioned, best day of my life and we all knew she said I do. The lavish garden wedding was attended by her close family and friends including her Elani members.
December 8th 2018, Maureen did her ruracio (dowry payment ceremony among the Kikuyu Community) which went down successfully in Meru at her parents’ home. We all expected her to tie the knot soon.
Maureen’s milestones
Elani band is in the limelight again with another album release, Colors of Love. They are known for all their songs so to speak, which are all hit songs in Kenya. That aside, Maureen has been her own woman, from her weight loss journey to her beauty and health YouTube Channel which is quite successful now.
She has achieved so much given she is the last born in her family of five children. Aside from her music, Maureen is also a lawyer.
If we ever came up with a list of strong, consistent, self-disciplined women in Kenya, Maureen would definitely hit top list.
