Anerlisa Muigai gets married a year after engagement.
Anerlisa Muigai is a married woman and there is nothing else to say about that. Except maybe for Ben Pol to explain why he married Anerlisa in a private wedding.
This has been a hell of a roller coaster year for Ben Pol also known as Bernard Michael Paul Mnyang’anga and Anerlisa Muigai who got caught up in the whirlwind that saw them loose Keroche Breweries heiress Tecra Muigai and her parents swept off to court for tax evasion.
Tecra passed away while receiving treatment at the Nairobi Hospital after she fell down the stairs at a holiday home in Lamu, where she was staying with her boyfriend Omar Lali.
But the newly wed weathered the storm well with Ben Paul even going to court to support his parents in law. We at Switch are glad to see the couple are winding down the year with blessings.
The two celebrated their union in a private ceremony in Tanzania on Sunday, May 31st, 2020 a year after their engagement.

Anerlisa’s attempts to keep the ceremony low-key didn’t go well after a popular Tanzanian wedding cake vendor shared pictures of the beautiful wedding cake used in the ceremony prompting various bloggers to share images of the ceremony. Photos of the beautifully themed wedding were also shared by Kenyan blogger Edgar Obare via his Instagram stories.
From the leaked photos, it was clear that the wedding was not the traditional white wedding with a white wedding gown and black tuxedo as expected. Anerlisa wore a green figure hugging emerald dress that complemented Ben Pol’s elegant suit. The two lay in each other’s shoulders as they danced the night away while their invite-only guests watched them in admiration.
Anerlisa, who is the daughter of Keroche Breweries billionaire owners Joseph Karanja (Chairman) and his wife Tabitha Karanja (CEO), is the founder and CEO of NERO – a company that produces premium drinking mineral water.
On Sunday, Anerlisa hinted that she can comfortably sit in her thrown now that she is a married woman.
Many fans flooded her Instagram with congratulatory messages as they take the new milestone of marriage. The couple currently resides in Tanzania and Ben Pol popped the magic question on marriage to Keroche heiress Anerlisa Muigai with a Sh1.1 million ring.
Neither Anerlisa nor Ben Pol has come out to confirm that the wedding indeed happened.
