Elani set to release new album

One of Kenya’s most loved afro pop band Elani, is breaking the internet with the news of their sophomore album. Fans have been waiting for Colours of Love album and the trio have finally come through. The first single off the album heartbeat was released on 8th August 2018 and was undisputedly one of the best songs of last year. The song is the begining of the the journey that is the album.
Elani is composed of Brian Chweya, Maureen Kunga (recently married) and the sassy Wambui Ngugi. The band came into the limelight back in 2013 when they released their debut single Jana Usiku which became a great success. Their first album Barua ya Dunia, had numerous singles that undeniably made them an East African powerhouse, when it comes to love ballads.

The trio have been going to interviews to promote their second album. They assured fans that their future favourite songs are on Colours of Love.
Recently Elani took to social media to invite Afro pop lovers to a listening party of their album. They will be performing all their songs tonight for the first time ever. It gets better, the event is free.
While promoting the project, the band revealed that the album is dear to them and comes from a place of sincerity and vulnerability which will thrill fans.
The event will be taking place tonight at J’s in Westlands from 8 - 11PM.
