Jacque Maribe: I may run for a political seat in the next election.

Controversial TV girl Jacque, made a lot of revelations during the Instagram live session with Mr.Dru. Apart from revealing that she is considering getting back on our TV screens, she also revealed that she is thinking of immersing herself in politics. The media personality who served as a news anchor and political journalist is considering following her father’s footsteps. Back in 2007, her father Maribe Mwangi contested fir the Kiharu parliamentary seat but lost. Her father failed to clinch the post twice.

When she was asked by the VIP room show host whether she was thinking of running for a political post in Muranga this is what the lass said; “It is an opportunity. Given the opportunity why not? I have not ruled it out but what I am saying is I have not Officially declared it. I’m receiving a lot of messages with people asking if I will run. The proper response from me is, ‘SEE YOU AT THE FINISH line!

In 2018 during her birthday, pictures of her and some women circulated in the internet and people came to the conclusion that she was positioning herself for politics. Some of her colleagues at her former place of work also hinted that Maribe was planning to vie for the Women representative of Muranga seat.

It is believed that the women that were at her party assured Jacque of their support if she decides to go for it.

Jacque Maribe has a lot of high ranking politicians as her close friends who might have influenced her interest in politics.

They include; President Uhuru Kenyatta, DP Ruto, Gatundu South Member of parliament Moses Kuria,Nairobi’s Governor Sonko and Nairobi Senator Sakaja.

When she was reached out for her comments she said that it was something she would be interested in when the time was right.

Well, I guess 2022 is the right time. Will the mother of one join Mohamed Ali in being an elected journalist?
