Lady Bee

Gospel Musician Lady Bee was once a secular artist, known for hits like Genge Love ft. Nonini. The musician has been open about her struggles with substance abuse; back then she could hardly go for a day without smoking weed.

The singer's spiritual journey began back in 2013 and she has never looked back. In a recent interview on Switch TV's Chatspot with Jackie Matubia, Nonny Gathoni, Kush Tracey and Mary Mwikali, Lady Bee talked about her journey to getting born again and the challenges she faced at the beginning.

Lady Bee revealed that accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and personal saviour is one of the best decisions she has ever made. She never planned for it. God chose her and not the other way round. It just happened she went on to say.

Real change…

The Gospel artist did not have to cut people off or block numbers, all she had to do was walk in her truth. Determined to live in the light of salvation, the mother of one ditched secular music for the Gospel and let the world know she was a born again Christian moving forward.

Her family and friends received the news differently; some stayed while others left but there are those who gave her space and let her become the woman she is today. To all parties, she is grateful. She understands that real change comes from within.

Spreading the gospel...

Lady Bee has recently shifted gears and started to take evangelism very seriously. She has teamed up with other born again christians and together they are spreading the Gospel through crusades in different locations once a week. She strongly believes in bringing more souls to Christ.
