Akothee might not be anyone’s role model but she is definitely raising the bar high for all mothers. This is after she gifted her daughter, a luxurious trip to Maldives. Over the weekend, Rue emerged as the 1st runners up on the Miss Universe Kenya pageant and the singer is over the moon about it.
The win made Akothee feel even more generous and flew open her purse in an effort to celebrate her daughter. The ecstatic singer impulsively decided to spend more than the Ksh. 200,000 monthly allowance she gives all her daughters to do something special just for Rue. The elated Mom took to her Instagram to express her enthusiasm, joy, pride and gift her daughter while at it.
Not every success should come from a man, you can also brand and build yourself to enjoy the beauty of the world @rue.baby , finish your Exams and get plus one to this destination. Trip to Maldives…
Boss Lady is still in USA however Rue can start packing her bags. The proud Mom has awarded the young model with an all-expense paid trip to the Maldives. It gets better, Rue is allowed to tag along a companion of her choice. Her boyfriend or best friend, the icing on the cake is her plus one expenses are all catered for too. The only thing the plus one needs to do is just show up and make Rue’s trip magical.

Rue thanked her mother for finally helping her achieve her dreams. The mother of five asserted that a woman's success should not always be defined by the efforts of her man - More than anything, Akothee was proud of her daughter for being independent and relying on her hard work.
Rue is definitely one lucky lass. We wish her well.
