Azziad gives tips on how to determine genuine friendship

Tik Tok queen Azziad Nasenya left netizens talking after she posted a short video clip on Twitter, advising people on how to distinguish genuine friendships from fake ones.

According to her, real people are those who stick around in times of crisis. Therefore, a person should fake a problem or put themselves in a phony situation to see the number of people who will still stick around.

If you want to know you have a real friend or if your friends are real, come up with a scenario, fake it, put yourself in trouble, and then you will see how many people are going to stand by your side or how many are still going to stick by you. You'd actually be surprised with how many people are still going to be your friends or who are going to stand with you past that situation that you'd faked. Point of this whole story I am talking about is if you find real people, keep them. They're hard to find. " she said.

Negative comments and memes began flying across social media, sarcastically criticizing the comments Azziad made.

A section of netizens supported her, stating that she was right.

" Azziad is right, we have lots of fake friends masquerading as true friends," tweeted King Kalala.

Celebrity life has its benefits and demerits. One major limitation of being a celebrity is receiving trolls from every corner. Many celebrities have discovered ways to survive this, while others have failed and have even gone into depression because of it.

In June 2020, Azziad revealed how she went through a difficult time when trolls attacked her from every angle. All she could do was shed tears to sleep. She couldn't stomach it.

She added that there are times she wondered what crime she committed to be hated with such passion. All she was trying to do is live a young woman's dream.

The first time she got trolled was after her Tik Tok video while jamming the ‘Utawezana hit’ by Femi One ft Mejja went viral.

“I read the comments, it got to me and I felt very bad about it but I came to realise that for someone to body shame or feel the need to insult you, they are lower than you, mwenye anajua hawezi fika penye uko,” said Azziad.
