Akothee celebrates her 40th birthday

Kenyan musician and businesswoman Akothee celebrated her birthday recently, sharing posts of her 40th birthday celebration on her social media accounts.

She celebrated her birthday with beautiful gold-themed and yellow balloon decorations. The singer held her special occasion at Rock and Sea Resort, Watamu in the company of her family and friends.

Some of Akothee’s followers were not convinced by the fact that the singer was just four decades old. They claimed that the Akothee Safaris CEO lied about her age and is most likely to be older than 40.

This forced the mother of five to react to the comments and inquisitions stating that she didn’t care what netizens thought about her age or whatever age they allocated her.

She also added that her critics should base their arguments on their financial worth, implying that she is richer than them.

“There is someone busy arguing with my age. My friend use your bundles wisely or argue with your net worth my friend it's hard everywhere... give me that age that makes you feel better, 92 is also okay,” the singer wrote.
